Where to start... I wanted to purchase my first-ever silver ring and found Theswaf. I was captivated by the various designs and styles of rings they offered. The prices are fair, and the quality of the ring I purchased was amazing. I purchased a .925 sterling silver (polished) Saint George signet ring. The ring is plated with Rhodium, which gives it a white-gold look (it also provides better scratch resistance). My baptismal name is Gerorgious, and I carry a heavy sentimental value with Saint George, so getting this as my first ring was special. This particular design stood out to me. So without much hesitation, I purchased it. I was thoroughly impressed with it, to say the least. The craftsmanship is impeccable, especially for the price. Definitely a statement piece (appropriate for a signet ring). The details within the piece are what blew me away. The ring itself - 5/5 stars - it's worth every penny! Now, for the customer service portion... I would say perhaps since the company is located in Turkey, response times are usually within 24 hours; however, it almost felt like I was talking to people whose English is not their first language. This is understandable - I get it, but it can make answering questions difficult sometimes. When I ordered the piece, I requested to have the ring engraved (which is offered for free). When ordering, the website allows up to 20 characters to be engraved on this particular ring. I put in 19 characters, but when my ring arrived - no engraving. This honestly made me upset because the engraving would have made the piece even more sentimental to me. I reached out to customer service, and after some back and forth - they admitted that not every ring can offer engravings depending on the inner design. Which is understandable, but the option should really be removed for the pieces to which it does not apply. I was disappointed to say the least - however, I was offered a limited-time offer on my next purchase, which I did not accept but appreciated anyway. Overall, this company does try to do right, but customer service was not the best - about a 3.5/5 stars. Should you still buy from this website? I would still say yes, but try asking customer service about some things if you're unsure about anything. The ring itself - you won't be disappointed with. Thank you, Theswaf!

Yes. Every THESWAF piece is made from solid 925 sterling silver. Our gold pieces feature a thick layer of genuine gold vermeil over the same 925 sterling silver base — not plated base metal.
925 sterling silver can develop a natural patina over time, particularly with regular wear. This can be restored with a soft silver polishing cloth. Many of our oxidized pieces are intentionally finished to have a darker, aged appearance — this is part of the design, not a flaw.
