Where a piece is plated, it's finished in real gold or real rhodium over a sterling silver core — chosen for how long it lasts, not how little it costs. On request, gold-plated pieces can also be made with a heavier 2.5-micron or 5-micron gold-filled layer for extra durability.
Patina
Oxidized means aged by hand, not sprayed on.
Our oxidized finish is a hand-applied sulphur patina worked into the metal itself — not a surface coating, so it doesn't wear off or flake.
