The Pumpkin Doom Ring is a ring in 925 sterling silver carrying a jack-o'-lantern face carved in high relief, the hollowed and lit pumpkin that has marked Halloween since the custom crossed over from Ireland. The face is cut with a snarl rather than a grin, and twisted vines wind out of the stem and around the sides of the band.
The vines are what set it apart from a plain pumpkin ring: the fruit is still attached to its plant, as though pulled straight from the field. The lantern was first carved to turn away wandering spirits, carried here as a seasonal symbol rather than as a religious piece.
