The Azrael Onyx Ring is a 925 sterling silver ring built around a black onyx, named for Azrael, the angel of death in Islamic and Jewish tradition. The onyx is set into the top of the ring, with worked detailing running through the band on either side of the stone.
Onyx gives back almost no light, so the stone reads as a flat black opening in the middle of the silver instead of a point of sparkle. That absence is the effect the ring is built on, and it suits the figure it is named for, carried as a symbol rather than as a religious piece.
