The Artemis Necklace is a pendant in 925 sterling silver carrying Artemis, the Greek goddess of the hunt and of wild country, twin of Apollo and known in Rome as Diana. She is shown drawing her bow with the arrow already on the string, her robe falling in long folds around her.

Behind her the ground is textured like the surface of the moon, the body she was given charge of, so the hunt is set at night rather than in daylight. Artemis stands for aim, independence and a refusal to be claimed by anyone, worn as a symbol rather than as a religious piece.
