The Archangel Sentinel Band Ring is a 925 sterling silver band carved with an armored archangel standing guard with a raised sword, the sentinel figure European art placed at gates and thresholds. The figure holds the center of the band, with layered wings behind it and scrollwork and rope borders closing the scene above and below.
The sword is raised rather than lowered, which is what makes the figure a sentinel on watch instead of a guardian at rest.
